Financial Strategies Customized to Your Unique Goals
Our clients can expect experience, expertise, transparency, flexibility, and continuity in a relationship that is based on mutual respect and understanding from our experienced investment advisors. Our comprehensive services are designed with the needs of our clients in mind. Whether you live in Europe and want to invest in assets in the U.S., or a United States citizen living abroad, we have investment strategies tailored to your needs.
We serve a select group of high-net-worth individuals and families from Europe and the United States looking for professional guidance in managing their financial affairs. In order to understand you and what strategies might work best, we want to get to know you better. Before we decide to work together, let’s ensure we share the same values, agree on the process, and think alike financially. We feel your success depends on this mutual understanding.
If your concerns and goals include any of the following…
I want to continue to grow my wealth.
I want to generate additional income.
I want to protect my assets in down markets.
I want to feel better about whether or not I’m making the right decisions in all aspects of my finances.
I want to discuss more advanced asset allocation options.
…then let’s talk about the next steps and see if we’re a good fit.
How Do I . . .
Our clients often want to know the “hows” of investing with Terra Nova. Some commonly asked questions we get include:
How do I withdraw money from my U.S. portfolio while living abroad?
With an account at Fidelity, clients can sign in from anywhere, manage their cash, withdraw cash at ATMs, and pay by debit card.
How can a European invest in the U.S. dollar?
Because you will do so through Terra Nova! Due to complicated and costly compliance, foreign accounts are no longer accepted in the U.S. by many financial institutions. However, as a client of Terra Nova, an account can be opened at Fidelity since the vetting process has been completed through Terra Nova.
Investment Advisory Fee
Our interests align with yours. Our nominal income only grows when your assets grow. We charge a quarterly advisory fee, in arrears, based on the value of your account. (Minimum account size is $1 million.)
Assets Under Management Fee
$1M to $3M | 1.0% |
$3M to $5M | 0.9% |
Above $5M | Negotiable |
Minimum fee | $1,125 per quarter |
Additional Fees
Accounts are held with custodians like Fidelity and Charles Schwab. Variable transaction or wire fees may apply, which can typically add approximately 0.10% to the investment advisory fee.
Tax-Deductibility of Fees
Depending on the country of residency, partial fees may be tax-deductible. Consult your tax professional, or we can recommend one if needed.
